NaturePix is the website of photographer, conservationist and wildlife
enthusiast Simon Fordham.
Simon began photography
as an early teenager, initially using a Kodak Box Brownie, then a
Kodak Instamatic, before progressing to SLR in 1982. In 1993 he
visited Tiritiri Matangi Island, an experience that not only
introduced him to the exciting and essential world of wildlife
conservation, the Island's abundance of birdlife provided the perfect
opportunity to learn and subsequently specialize in wildlife
